Job Description

Overview:
SWATX is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Cloud Engineer – OCI to join our Professional Services team. The role involves designing and delivering complex, enterprise-grade OCI solutions. You will combine deep technical expertise with strong leadership and client-facing capabilities. Your responsibilities include translating business requirements into actionable designs and presenting recommendations to stakeholders. This position directly impacts strategic cloud projects, maximizing the value and resilience of clients' OCI environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement complex OCI architectures across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services.
  • Lead technical workstreams within large migration or modernization projects.
  • Conduct OCI architecture reviews to improve clients' cloud environments.
  • Design secure networking architectures on OCI ensuring high availability.
  • Develop infrastructure as code using CloudFormation, Terraform, Python.
  • Lead migrations to OCI using native migration services and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across compute, networking, databases.
  • Collaborate with teams to present solutions to stakeholders.

Requirements:
  • Overall 10+ years of technology experience.
  • Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
  • Strong knowledge of OCI networking, compute, storage databases.
  • Experience in multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure) preferred.
  • Excellent communication and client interaction skills.
