Overview:
TeenCare, a fast-growing startup backed by notable organizations such as Acumen USA and Solve MIT, is pioneering psychological and life skills education for teenagers. As a Youth Mentor, you'll connect with young individuals to help them develop life skills and a healthy mindset. Beyond mentoring, you'll serve as an educational consultant to optimize each student's learning journey. This role is ideal for those passionate about education with strong consulting or sales skills.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate weekly or monthly mentoring sessions using TeenCare's curriculum.
- Monitor student needs and recommend additional educational services.
- Maintain communication with students and collaborate with the team for follow-ups.
- Track progress and report outcomes to improve service quality.
- Participate in group meetings and training sessions regularly.
- Commit to supporting students over their development journey consistently.
- Consult with parents to highlight the value of add-on services.
Requirements:
- Native English speaker.
- Passionate about youth development and working with teenagers.
- Excellent communication skills for connecting with students and parents. (Optional): Experience in consulting, customer service, or sales is a plus.
(Optional): Self-driven individual capable of balancing mentoring and upselling goals.
