Job Description
Overview:
Mudzini School is seeking a qualified Accountant to join our Finance department. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in accounting and a strong understanding of financial principles. This role involves managing financial records, preparing budgets, and ensuring compliance with regulations. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented and passionate about contributing to our mission of nurturing excellence in education.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- At least three years of relevant accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or similar).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
