Job Description
Overview:
Rotic Aluminium Extrusion is seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Accountant to take charge of our financial operations. This role requires strong technical accounting skills, ERP experience, and the ability to manage all aspects of the company’s finances in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records
- Prepare and review journal entries, ledgers, and trial balances
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely settlements
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate cash flow tracking
- Monitor inventory valuation and cost control for production
- Manage payroll processing and statutory deductions (PAYE, pension, NHF, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax laws and regulatory requirements
- Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and other financial stakeholders
Requirements:
- BSc/HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience (manufacturing/FMCG preferred)
- Professional certification (ICAN/ACCA) or in-progress is a strong advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Vlookups, advanced formulas)
- Experience with ERP systems — Odoo is highly preferred
