Job Description
Overview:
Rotic Aluminium Extrusion is seeking an experienced Production Lead to oversee daily shopfloor operations and drive production efficiency in our aluminium extrusion facility. This leadership role focuses on delivering output targets, improving processes, and ensuring strict adherence to safety and quality standards. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities across shifts
- Implement TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and lean manufacturing methods to reduce downtime and optimize machine availability
- Ensure production schedules are met with minimal waste and cost per unit
- Coordinate shift planning, manpower utilization, and line efficiency
- Enforce strict safety, quality, and maintenance standards on the shopfloor
- Collaborate closely with maintenance, QA, logistics, and planning teams
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and SOP adherence
- Train and coach operators for improved performance and accountability
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in production supervision or plant operations (manufacturing environment preferred)
- Proven track record in output optimization, cost savings, and process efficiency
- Hands-on experience with TPM, 5S, and other lean tools
- Strong leadership, team coordination, and communication skills
