Job Description
ABOUT THE JOB
We have an immediate need for an enthusiastic, self-motivated HVAC Service Technician. The successful candidate must be able to work efficiently with great attention to detail, should have exceptional multi-tasking skills, and be organized and able to perform in a fast-paced environment. This is an hourly, nonexempt, at-will position. Must be available to work full shifts plus overtime.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools to inspect, repair, and conduct maintenance on air conditioning systems, furnaces, coils, and compressors
- Demonstrate respect and compassion when communicating with clients on work performed and on recommendations for repairs or replacement
- Document service performed and recommendations made by completing applicable forms, reports, logs, and/or records
- Complete all tasks in accordance with Moore Home Services quality and safety standards
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities (internal and/or external)
- Meet sales goals and metrics
- Experience in setting units
- Hands-on experience in brazing, zoning, mini splits, e-pumps.
- Experience with all types of HVAC systems and how each component within the system operates; Experience with overall operations of the system as a whole.
Skills/Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Analytical, Focused on Quality, and Results-driven
- Excel within a team environment and willing to support all areas of our business
- Valid driver's license, with minimal DMV infractions
- EPA Universal Certification
- Required 2+ years of experience as an HVAC Technician
