Job Description
Overview:
Choice One Engineering is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer specializing in transportation projects for local municipalities and ODOT. The ideal candidate will lead plan production efforts using AutoCAD Civil 3D and interact with various stakeholders including clients and contractors. With a commitment to quality and efficiency, you will develop project budgets, schedules, and technical proposals while preparing cost estimates for bidding. Join our dynamic team to contribute to impactful transportation design solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead plan production efforts for transportation projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Interact with clients including local municipalities and ODOT.
- Develop project budgets and schedules.
- Prepare technical proposals for prospective projects.
- Prepare quantities and construction cost estimates for bidding.
- Collaborate with technical staff within Choice One Engineering.
Requirements:
- B.S. in Civil Engineering required.
- P.E. license or in the process of obtaining one.
- 5-15 years of experience in transportation design.
- Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet deadlines.
- Working proficiency of AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred.
