Job Description

Overview:
Seeking a dedicated School Based Therapist to provide mental health services in designated school locations. This role involves delivering direct mental health care to students, conducting assessments, and collaborating with school staff to support the overall mental health goals of the institution. The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in social work and a strong commitment to facilitating positive change for school-aged children.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct mental health services including intake assessments and therapy sessions.
  • Conduct interviews and evaluations to assess day-to-day functioning of clients.
  • Identify areas needing continued support and develop treatment plans accordingly.
  • Maintain confidentiality of consumer records while documenting all services rendered.

Requirements:
  • Master's degree in social work.
  • LGSW/LGPC certification required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in mental health services.
  • Strong knowledge of common diagnoses and treatments for school-aged children.
