Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design custom equipment for the metal casting industry. This role requires flexibility and problem-solving skills, as projects vary widely. The engineer will work closely with production teams and customers, and may require up to 10% travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects from design to installation.
  • Perform analysis to develop design options for structures, systems, and components.
  • Review the accuracy and feasibility of all drawings and bill of materials.
  • Participate in engineering solutions including mechanical, manufacturing, quality, and safety.
  • Utilize SolidWorks for engineering tasks.
  • Provide application engineering support and cost projections for Sales.
  • Conduct research & development for new products.

  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or Associate degree with relevant experience.
  • 3-5 years of mechanical engineering experience.
  • 3D modeling experience; SolidWorks preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word) and Adobe Acrobat.
