Job Summary:
Role & responsibilities:
We are looking for a Senior person who has experience in the FMCG industry in the Purchase Executive post, who is responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing of goods and services, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers. The role involves evaluating supplier options, negotiating contracts, and monitoring inventory levels to support the organization's operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchasing of New Machinery & Equipment's as per requirements. Track orders and ensure timely delivery. Spares rates finalization in major spare. Focus on spare which spending cost is high, try to develop spares locally
  • Maintenance of Records: Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data. Coordinate with maintenance people. Maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers. Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices. Relevant report making/checking. ISO Documentation Service PO related Process. Signing authority for Quotation Approval regarding major spares & Service Work.
  • Vendor Development: Preparing & updating vendor development format. Maintaining & Updating data of vendors on a timely basis. Building relations with vendors. Providing ESFL policy knowledge to vendors. Attend the Exhibitions. Vendor Visit of Existing vendor as well as new Vendor for Development's. Study of the latest trend of machinery & equipment's. To do Co-ordination between ESFL Team & Vendor to Solve the machine's problems.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Stay updated on market trends, product availability, and price fluctuations. Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative suppliers.
  • ERP Process: Creation of item code in ERP. Creation of vendor code in ERP. Updating of vendor master from time to time. Ensuring PO/PR are placed on time & taking follow-up. Consumable & Fixed Asset Vendor Approval. Check Vendor Payment List before sending to Account Dept.

  • Preferred Candidate Profile:
    Qualifications and Skills:
    Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
    Experience: 5-8 years in a purchasing or procurement role.
    Skills:
    • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
    • Knowledge of procurement software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
