Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Purchase Manager to lead our procurement team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the purchasing process, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products. Day To Day Responsibilities:

  • Checking purchase orders prepared by subordinates
  • Coordinating and following up with suppliers to expedite delivery and resolve material quality-related issues
  • Analyzing vendor quotes and selecting material from suppliers based on price, quality, and other factors
  • Visiting vendors for evaluation, quality checks, negotiation, etc. on a monthly basis
  • Convening weekly/fortnightly meetings with reporting in charge and concerned stakeholders to review projects
  • Evaluating existing vendors and developing new vendors as required
  • Conducting vendor appraisals and ensuring quality product delivery

    • Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Supply Chain Management, Logistics, etc.)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or a related field
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel frequently (PAN India)
