Overview: <br /> We are seeking an experienced Modern Trade Manager to drive sales growth, strengthen key account relationships, and ensure excellent execution of sales and merchandising activities across major modern trade channels. The ideal candidate will manage key accounts, lead field execution, and grow the company’s visibility and market share. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills and a proven track record in FMCG sales.<br /> <br /> Responsibilities:<br /> <br /> - Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve volume, revenue, and distribution targets in assigned regions.<br /> - Manage relationships with key modern trade partners including supermarkets, hypermarkets, and chain stores.<br /> - Negotiate listings, visibility agreements, and activation plans with customers.<br /> - Monitor stock levels, product availability, and ensure timely order generation and fulfillment.<br /> - Lead and supervise merchandisers/promoters to ensure planogram compliance.<br /> - Track competitor activities and market trends to recommend proactive initiatives.<br /> - Prepare periodic sales reports and provide data-driven insights to management.<br /> <br /> <br /> Requirements:<br /> <br /> - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Marketing.<br /> - Minimum of 5 years’ FMCG sales experience with at least 3 years in modern trade management.<br /> - Strong negotiation skills with a proven record of meeting sales targets.<br /> - Good understanding of modern trade operations in Nigeria.<br /> - Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).<br /> <br /> <br /> Benefits:<br /> <br /> -
