Overview:

Pacer Staffing, leading Client, is seeking a skilled Network Engineer with expertise in routing, switching, and LTE/5G wireless connectivity. This role involves supporting the development, testing, and integration of network connectivity products for small and medium businesses. The engineer will design solutions ensuring reliable WAN redundancy and collaborate with product owners, network architects, and vendors like Cradlepoint and Verizon. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on delivering robust network products.

Responsibilities:
  • Design connectivity products, including LTE/5G wireless backup solutions.
  • Configure and test cellular routers for failover.
  • Implement routing protocols like BGP, OSPF.
  • Collaborate with ISPs to ensure SLA compliance.
  • Support Tier 3/Tier 4 escalations for network issues.
  • Conduct lab testing of new hardware models.
  • Participate in solution design documentation.
  • Maintain comprehensive network documentation.

Requirements:
  • - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network engineering focusing on WAN/LAN connectivity.
    • - Strong knowledge of routing/switching (BGP, OSPF) and IP subnetting.
    - Experience with wireless WAN technologies (LTE/5G).
    - Proficiency with troubleshooting tools like Wireshark.
    - Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
