About the Role

Overview:
Our client is seeking a Head of Corporate Banking to lead the strategic direction and performance of the department. This senior leadership role involves managing relationships with mid-sized and large corporates, overseeing bespoke lending and structured credit solutions. The role requires strong business acumen and market insight to drive revenue growth while ensuring compliance. The successful candidate will work closely with executive management to shape product offerings that align with client needs and growth objectives.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead business origination efforts for corporate clients across key sectors.
  • Develop sales strategies to grow market share and client wallet.
  • Structure and negotiate credit facilities tailored to client needs.
  • Review credit proposals ensuring alignment with bank policies.
  • Present credit applications to the Credit Committee.
  • Supervise relationship managers within the Corporate Banking unit.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders for seamless deal execution.
  • Champion cross-selling of the Group's full suite of products.

Requirements:
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline from a recognized university.
  • 7+ years banking experience in corporate banking sales and credit.
  • 4+ years in a supervisory role within a commercial bank.

  • Understanding of economic trends affecting the banking sector.
