Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain centralized data management systems that store, process, and archive clinical trial data for multiple therapeutic areas.

Implement data validation, cleaning, and quality control procedures to achieve >99% data accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.

Coordinate data transfers between sponsor electronic data capture (EDC) platforms and internal databases, ensuring secure, timely, and traceable exchanges.

Lead the creation of data dictionaries, metadata documentation, and standard operating procedures to support consistent data handling across studies.

Conduct regular data audits, generate validation reports, and resolve data discrepancies in collaboration with investigators and study coordinators.

Provide training and mentorship to study staff on data entry best practices, system usage, and compliance requirements.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s preferred.

Minimum 3 years of experience managing clinical trial data, including familiarity with EDC systems such as Medidata Rave or Oracle Clinical.

Demonstrated knowledge of FDA 21 CFR Part 11, ICH GCP, and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and statistical software (e.g., SAS, R) for data extraction and reporting.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify data quality issues and implement corrective actions.
