Position: Senior Manager / Manager – Purchase & Fire Fighting Tenders
Experience: 7–20 Years
Location: Gurgaon (Head Office) & Neemrana Plant
Industry: Fire Fighting Vehicles, ARFF, Fire Protection Systems, Airport & Government Projects
Tendering & Bidding
- Handle end-to-end tendering for Fire Fighting Vehicles, ARFF, Fire Tenders, and Fire Protection Systems
- Search, analyze, and participate in tenders on GeM, CPPP, AAI, State Fire Services, PSUs, and Defence portals
- Prepare complete technical and commercial bid documentation
- Coordinate with OEMs, consultants, and internal teams for compliance
- Ensure adherence to tender conditions, PQ criteria, and submission timelines
- Support pre‑bid meetings, bid clarifications, and post‑bid negotiations
Purchase & Procurement
- Manage procurement of fire fighting equipment, chassis, pumps, monitors, foam systems, and accessories
- Vendor development for domestic and international OEMs/suppliers
- Price negotiation, comparative analysis, and finalization of purchase orders
- Ensure compliance with technical specifications, QAP, and project requirements
- Coordinate with production, design, and quality teams at the Neemrana plant
- Monitor delivery schedules, inspections, FAT, SAT, and documentation
Vendor & OEM Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with fire fighting OEMs and suppliers
- Evaluate vendor capability, certifications, and past performance
- Manage long‑term sourcing strategies and rate contracts
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with NFPA, EN, UL, BIS, ICAO, AAI, and MoCA standards
- Maintain tender records, BOQs, deviation statements, approvals, and reports
- Support audits, inspections, and statutory requirements
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: B.Tech / BE / Diploma (Mechanical / Electrical / Automobile / Fire Engineering preferred)
- Experience: 7–20 years in Purchase & Fire Fighting Tendering
- Strong knowledge of Fire Fighting Vehicles, ARFF, Fire Pumps, Monitors, Foam Systems
- Hands‑on experience with Government, PSU & Airport tenders
- Excellent negotiation, documentation, and coordination skills
- Willingness to travel between Gurgaon & Neemrana Plant
Preferred Skills
- Strong understanding of tender terms & conditions
- Costing, budgeting, and commercial evaluation
- Vendor sourcing & development
- SAP / ERP exposure preferred
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
